Get Going

In April 2008, Susan Johnson was the first tenant to move into The Watermark Innovation Centre in Ivybridge, with her business ‘Get Going’ – established to help people emigrate to Australia. Since then, the business has expanded rapidly to include New Zealand, Canada and South Africa.

Susan has recently doubled her unit space in the Centre to cope with the increase in business, where she helps customers, especially tradesmen and medical professionals, relocate to their chosen destination.

“Successfully applying to emigrate is a complicated, costly and time consuming process that can be extremely stressful. My role is to provide a hassle free experience to organise all the administrative side relating to the process”. Continued Susan; “Immigration to all these countries is highly competitive, with far more people seeking visas than there are available each year. We have submitted literally thousands of applications on behalf of clients and pride ourselves upon ethical advice, value for money and genuine concern for our client's futures in their new homes.”

Moving into the Centre has been a great step forward for Susan; ”The Watermark is a such a convenient and lovely place to work. The facilities and location are excellent and we have a real family atmosphere where all the tenants help and support each other. We even enjoy our Friday afternoon ‘chill-out’ sessions where all the tenants can share their recent news.”

Susan has also just commissioned one of her neighbouring tenants to produce a logo and design work for her, demonstrating what a close-knit community exists in the Ivybridge Innovation Centre
