Retail and hospitality is a challenging environment at the best of times and the number one priority has to be maximising the value of every customer that walks through the door.
To help achieve this, Olympic coach turned business consultant, Dennis Reid of RPS was invited to deliver a series of four free ‘Boost Your Business’ workshops at quarterly sessions over 2008/2009. Each event covers ‘play to win’ techniques, specifically designed to help business owners, managers and senior staff of the retail and hospitality sectors in the Bay.
“At the centre of our work is the RPS Retail Performance Model,” explains Dennis. “It’s a unique analysis tool based on almost 30 years’ experience of working with the world’s most successful retail businesses. RPS has distilled the fundamentals of retail best practice and translated it into proven methodologies. It’s also modular, so you can choose to focus on the elements that are your highest priority.”
Organized by the Torbay Development Agency and Torbay Innovation Centre, with financial support from the Learning & Skills Council, these inspiring skills workshops are free of charge and have been specially designed to boost trade for the retail and hospitality businesses in Torbay.
